Union Park Neighborhood Center for Families
Through it's collaborative partnership with the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children (CCC), Orange County/UF Extension manages two Extension staff positions at the Union Park Neighborhood Center for Families (UPNCF). These positions are the Coordinator of the UPNCF and a 4H/Youth Development Teacher Assistant.
The Union Park Neighborhood Center for Families is a community-based collaborative neighborhood service facility that provides comprehensive educational services that support the stability of families and safety of unsupervised children of the Union Park Community. Extension’s role with the UPNCF to is teach youth latchkey safety skills, and general life skills related to nutrition, communication, conflict resolution, positive self-concepts, and leadership. The UPNCF is funded by the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children.
