Summer Landscape Pests

Landscape Design - Summer

Fee: $20 - Due with PRE-REGISTRATION

Date/Time: July 28, August 4 and August 11 2009 (Tuesdays) 7:00 – 9:00PM (Three night workshop)

Description: Summer is a good time to plan a landscape that fits your lifestyle. A course guide and drawing material will be provided. Class is limited to first 25 families that register.

COST: $20 per residence made out to O.C. Extension Fund. Send non-refundable fee with pre-registration, no later than July 21, 2009 to the Orange County Extension Office (See address at the bottom of this web page).

Vegetable Gardening, Warm Season and Cool Season Vegetables

Fee: Free - PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Description: Fall is the beginning of nine months of great gardening in Florida. Learn the basics of vegetable gardening including soil preparation, adjusting soil pH, fertilizing, irrigation, pests and diseases. Among other benefits, successful vegetable gardens offer their owners fresh air, sunshine, exercise, enjoyment, mental therapy, nutritious fresh vegetables, and economic savings.

Landscaping For Wildlife & Butterflies

Fee: $5 - Due with PRE-REGISTRATION

Description: Learn design elements and plants that attract butterflies and wildlife to your yard. Free butterfly plant for participants (one per family)
